Same-Same Much? Shraddha-Aditya's OK Jaanu Poster Out
Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s OK Jaanu Poster is out with the release date of January 13, 2017! And Karan Johar has picked up one of the most memorable images from the Tamil original for the first poster
Aashiqui 2 lovers Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur are back again with a romantic film, OK Jaanu produced by Karan Johar.
The film is the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen. The original was directed by Mani Ratnam and the Hindi version has been helmed by Shaad Ali.
The film, an AR Rahman musical, has finally got its first poster and the image is a recreation of one of the most popular images from O Kadhal Kanmani.
In OK Jaanu, Shraddha and Aditya portray a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai with Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson playing supporting roles as an older couple in the film, portraying the younger couple's landlords.
With the current trend of recreating old classic tracks catching up, Shraddha and Aditya will groove on Humma Humma in the film too.
The original version of the 90s hit was picturised on Arvind Swamy, Manisha Koirala and Sonali Bendre in the film Bombay.
It will now have a peppier version in OK Jaanu. It has been shot in Mumbai and will reportedly appear at a crucial point in the film.
So will OK Jaanu offer any other fresh elements or will Shaad Ali, who remade Tamil hit Alaipayuthey as Saathiya, stick to the original?
